I've been watching my dvds of The Bob Newhart Show, and one thing that strikes me is how REAL the relationship between Bob and Emily seems. Has anyone else felt that in watching this show? Its how I could see a real couple responding to each other in certain situations. Everything is not perfect, but its apparent they love each other. Suzanne Pleschett(sp?) was a great actress portraying his wife. Just MO.;)

They seemed so at ease with each other, that it was like they were actually married.

Bob Newhart and Suzanne Pleshette were so natural together. They had terrific chemistry. They still do, as evidenced by the Season 4 commentaries. The two were still joking around together just like Bob and Emily did. :)
