In the episode "George Finds a Father" I don't understand how George could just stand there and take that slap from Buddy. Am I the only one who was bothered that George didn't get upset about the slap. There's no way I would have stood there and taken that. Not only did George get slapped but he was scolded.

Buddy could have just yelled at George but he didn't have to slap him. You just don't slap a grown man in his own house and your the guest. That's just plain rude lol

i been there before it pisses me off George schould of beat Buddy up and threw him off the damm balconey he is George Jefferson damm it.he schould threw him out of this apt like he would anyone else who did that to him.guest schould treat owner of the house with respect no matter what

I brought this up years ago. I was bothered that him as a grown man let another man slap him in his own house. That was defintely my most disappointing George Jefferson Moment

I remember watching that ep for the time at the age of 13 and being so disappointed to see him not react to the slap. Up until that point I just felt his character was the COOLEST and after that scene it was a big letdown. I felt the same way when Zac morris let SCREECH punk him in the Hallway in front of everyone-lol

I so agree with you. This is something that is out of character for George. I can't imagine him at least screaming back or something. But just standing there, it was hard to see him not react.
