Yeup... this is me enjoying the one day i am not doing homework... i created the Facts of Life cast in the sims!!! And not only did i do that... but i created edna's edibles as well... as best as i could anyways... i will try and take as many pictures as i can of the house and post them later on...

FYI... i KNOW that they may not look like the cast, but i still think it's funny :)

Alrighty, here are the pictures of the house... i'll try to explain as best as i can

Picture 1. The living room area with realistic and modern amenities. But i think that this actually looks like the real set did, i mean you have the fireplace, the couch/sitting area with the desk behind it, also the desk that was near the stairs (i can only put straight stairs in unfortunately) and then the piano (which appeared in the later seasons, but that space was lonely looking. Also, you can see the patio type doors in the back, just like the set also had... and then the closet to the left by the stairs and the eating area... i also did the shop, but it's basically just gaming stuff (cuz i can't really put a store in there) and then a few counter tops like how it was in the real Edna's Edibles (hopefully i will get these pics up within the next few days)

Picture 2. Another view of the living room area, the upper level with the balcony

Picture 3. The girls room, Nat and Tooties bed (can't find better types of bedding for the girls in the game unfortunately) again with modern amenities.

Picture 4. More of the girls room (yes i included the bathroom area), however i could not raise natalie and tooties part of the room. But the desk still exists (the door had to be put on the wrong side of the room.. but oh well) and then Blair laying on her bed (i tried to match her bedding to her as best as possible) and then Jo's bed next to that

huhmmm! Okay.

You do have Sims 2 on PC, right? So what are the specs on your PC? The reason I ask is because if your PC meets the required specs, you could (with the right kinds of mods) do the same thing (creating Ednas Edibles and the whole FOL cast) on the game Morrowing via the PC versions construction set and a few mods(interior, furniture, picture, and character faces/hair and clothes mods). And they'll look much better in that game than in the sims. I even knew a modder once who turned his Morrowind world into a complete copycat of a GTA game, complete with roads, modern buildings and modern-day people. Try it!

So far I know the system requirements for Morrowind are as follows:

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
Windows ME/98 128 MB RAM
Windows XP/2000 256 MB RAM
500 MHz Intel Pentium III, Celeron, or AMD Athlon processor
8x CD/DVD-ROM Drive
1 GB free hard disk space
Windows swapfile
DirectX 8.1 (included)
32MB Direct3D compatible video card with 32-bit color support and DirectX 8.1 compatible driver
DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card
Keyboard, Mouse

RECOMMENDED:
800 MHz or faster Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon processor
256 MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS, or ATI Radeon 7500 or faster video card.

SUPPORTED VIDEO CARD CHIPSETS:
NVIDIA GeForce4
NVIDIA GeForce3
NVIDIA GeForce2
NVIDIA GeForce 256
NVIDIA TNT2
ATI Radeon 8500
ATI Radeon 7500
ATI Radeon 7200
ATI Radeon
ATI Rage 128
Matrox G550
Matrox G450
Matrox G400

If you have these specs, just try Morrowind out, try out the user made free mods, and create your own Edna's Edibles set-up complete with the cast.

Dude... i'm in college, i'm lucky i had time to do this!!! Finals are in a week and this is the only day i had to fiddle around. I certainly don't have the time to sit and learn how to do those types of things (though i am able to) i know you can mod everything, i also know you can go and download things people have modded (i used to do that in high school with the original sims) if you are going to complain about what i have done (which was purley for fun, not necessarily for looking EXACT) then why don't you do it? then you can show us what you ahve done, since you have the time to do such things and seem to have the knowledge.... but yea, i have no time for those types of things!

:( I didn't know! Honest!

So you want me to do it? Okay! But it may take me some time, though.

The house looks really good actually. I wasn't sure what to expect before seeing the picture and I was impressed when I did.

LOL I eve right now was just staring at the picture for mintues admiring it. I can't believe how much it looks like the living room. If I were to see that picture w/o being told that it was the FOL one, I'd say it was right away
