They had one on the last Tuesday of every month at 8:30 at night. Worst case scenario if you stay in a real fire... your kids need to find new parents. I'll take the drill. I have been in 2 legit building fires and watched people sit at their desk or just stand around until forced out by the Fire Wardens, some even after they saw smoke. In one fire the smoke was so think on the second floor that you could not see anything over 2 ft off the ground. People panic in real emergencies, the drills are supposed to alliviate some of that panic instinct.
