View Full Version : Lifetime Real Women MysterySolver 12-07-2006, 04:25 PM Starting January 1st, Unsolved Mysteries is slated to start airing on the cable channel Lifetime Real Women. Check your local listings for times! Gozerjr 12-07-2006, 06:04 PM What proof do you have of this? An 80s Guy 12-07-2006, 06:34 PM I really wish I got this channel now.How do I get it what Cable systems get it??? GoldenGirlsFan92 12-07-2006, 06:35 PM Here is the link to the website: http://www.lifetimetv.com/lrw/index.html I checked the website, and there is nothing about UNsloved Ysteris. I checked their shows, ad UM was not listed. I hope this is not true. I don't get Lifeme Real Women. Plus I think UM should be on the orginal LIfetime. PrettyinPink55 12-08-2006, 11:56 AM Awwwwww I got my hopes up!! :( MysterySolver 12-08-2006, 01:01 PM It is probably too early to have it show up on their webpage. But I work at Cosgrove-Meurer, and we have received a schedule from Lifetime. An 80s Guy 12-08-2006, 02:39 PM Is there a way to get it back on norimal Lifetime??? UMfan77 12-08-2006, 02:59 PM That really stinks! I don't have Lifetime Real Women either. DarkDante 12-08-2006, 03:26 PM This process usually happens when a network deems a show, no longer worthly of being on its flagship station so you are all right this isn't good at all. If "Lifetime" is treating UM like this they might as well release the show from its contract or choose not to renew it when it comes up again and that way Cosgrove-Meurer can shop the show to another network. I believe the only way you can get this "Lifetime Real Women" channel is if you subscribe to some sort of dish network or perhaps opt for enhanced cable (you know with about 200 more channels than most people) crystaldawn 12-08-2006, 04:50 PM I found this about it on the LRW webpage: http://www.lifetimetv.com/lrw/shows/unsolved.html It is now listed on my cable although I technically don't have it yet. The cable company said it should be on soon so maybe its a channel that will start be more readily available to everyone. PrettyinPink55 12-08-2006, 05:20 PM Wait a second, it says that: "This extremely popular Emmy-nominated series is being reenergized, with brand-new segments and exclusive updates on previous episodes." NEW SEGMENTS??? An 80s Guy 12-08-2006, 05:23 PM I want this network so badly!!! An 80s Guy 12-08-2006, 05:26 PM I found this about it on the LRW webpage: http://www.lifetimetv.com/lrw/shows/unsolved.html It is now listed on my cable although I technically don't have it yet. The cable company said it should be on soon so maybe its a channel that will start be more readily available to everyone. What cable company??? crystaldawn 12-08-2006, 05:39 PM What cable company??? My cable company is Mediacom. I noticed that too PrettyInPink but I wasn't sure how new that paragraph was or if it could be from back when they initially started having new segments. I also noticed they said new updates on UM cases so that would be great! An 80s Guy 12-08-2006, 05:49 PM Does Grande get it? crystaldawn 12-08-2006, 05:53 PM Does Grande get it? I have no idea. You might want to call and ask them or even request that they add it if they don't already have it. GoldenGirlsFan92 12-08-2006, 06:36 PM This is Bull.... oooooo. I really wantUM back on LIfetime, and I don't get Letime Real Women. Also if they really do air new segments that would make me even more mad. GoldenGirlsFan92 12-08-2006, 06:38 PM I found this about it on the LRW webpage: http://www.lifetimetv.com/lrw/shows/unsolved.html It is now listed on my cable although I technically don't have it yet. The cable company said it should be on soon so maybe its a channel that will start be more readily available to everyone. You are very lucky to get his Channel. I have Cox, but I don't have the whole package to where you can get all 300 channels. I wish it would become a normal cable channel. PrettyinPink55 12-08-2006, 09:26 PM My cable company is Mediacom. I noticed that too PrettyInPink but I wasn't sure how new that paragraph was or if it could be from back when they initially started having new segments. I also noticed they said new updates on UM cases so that would be great! Yeah, that description might be from 2002. But if they do do new segments, does this mean a new host? Seeing updates on cases would be wonderful, I have to admit!!! Kane 12-09-2006, 12:20 AM Yeah, that description might be from 2002. But if they do do new segments, does this mean a new host? Nope. It would be Robert Stack again. Word has it that they might be able to revive him, so they can revive UM as well. The description about the show being "reenergized, with brand new segments" is definitely outdated. Most likely from 2001, the year in which UM was revived for Lifetime. So there was an obvious rush to judgment there. GoldenGirlsFan92 12-09-2006, 12:50 AM Even if they don't have New Segements I would like to see UM back on the normal Lifetime. PrettyinPink55 12-09-2006, 12:59 PM Even if they don't have New Segements I would like to see UM back on the normal Lifetime. Ditto to that!!!!!!! boechsner 12-09-2006, 03:44 PM Well, I have to say this is the best news that I have heard since I found out that The Hogan Family was coming back to ABC Family. We all know how that turned out. I'm so glad I get Lifetime Real Women! LooksLikeCRicci 12-09-2006, 10:20 PM I'm so glad I get Lifetime Real Women! I don't get Lifetime: Real Women. :crybaby: 80s90sFanatic 12-10-2006, 06:54 AM I don't get this channel either ugh!! Lifetime puts all the best programs on a channel that a lot of people don't have and it's sucks big time! I also have Cox, but we have digital cable, but that still doesn't help because Cox doesn't get the channel. GoldenGirlsFan92 12-10-2006, 11:54 AM Does anyone know what time UM will be airing on Lifetime Real Women? Gozerjr 12-10-2006, 06:34 PM Am I the only one who actually gets lrw? lol. (Time Warner Digital Cable) I am not sure when or what time it'll come on, but I'll keep y'all updated. GoldenGirlsFan92 12-10-2006, 09:59 PM Am I the only one who actually gets lrw? lol. GoldenGirlsFan92 12-11-2006, 12:23 AM TJ beat me into posting this info.I too just found out that it will be airing starting Jan 1 at 11pm. LOL, Thanks for the info there TJ. Now I really wish I got Lifetime Real Women. Man I wish Cox had this channel. wiseguy182 12-11-2006, 04:25 AM The options with my satellite company are America's Top 60 package, America's top 120 package, and America's top 180 package. We have America's top 180 package, and would you believe we still don't get this channel. But what we do have are dozens upon dozens of channels that nobody in the household ever watches. Oh the irony. That was the good thing about our previous satellite company, they let you create your own packages, and you could switchout channels whenever you wanted. This stinks. wiseguy182 12-11-2006, 07:37 AM Just checked out the episode listing that TJ posted a few posts back. Did anyone else notice that in UM's first two months back we have Resurrection Mary TWICE, Comedy Store ghosts TWICE, and lucky school THRICE. The more things stay the same, the more they really stay the same. Isn't it comforting and reassuring to know that in a world full of change, some things never change? UMfan77 12-11-2006, 11:18 AM That was the good thing about our previous satellite company, they let you create your own packages, and you could switchout channels whenever you wanted. Awsi Dooger 12-11-2006, 09:01 PM The options with my satellite company are America's Top 60 package, America's top 120 package, and America's top 180 package. We have America's top 180 package Get a bottom package. wiseguy182 12-12-2006, 07:10 AM To answer the above questions, I believe the satellite company we previously had was called Orbit, because I remember we would occasionally get these good-sized magazines called Orbit that had the program listings for the entire month. In any event, that was when we used our huge satellite dish before opting for the smaller one that goes on our roof. (We have Dish Network now.) I would highly doubt Orbit (if that's it's real name:) ) is in existence any longer. wiseguy182 12-12-2006, 07:11 AM Get a bottom package. I don't think we can. Good suggestion though;) PrettyinPink55 12-12-2006, 11:29 PM This is GREAT news!!!!! :D LOL! My mom thought I was half-crazy when I told her how excited I was about it coming back!!!
