That's good news, I was getting bored with the lineup that they have now. I'm for one is sick of the mini marathons that they are having.

Even though I have WH on DVD I'm miss it on Tvland

I would so much prefer WH over Star Trek. I am not into that show. Why did this occur? Is Star Trek removed totally from Tvland?

I think it's dumb to out WH back on TV land TWICE A NIGHT. They know the show only have 3 seasons o why air it TWICE? Plain Dumb. And another thing, WHN should be aired in combination with WH since it's so short

Good. Two hours I don't watch TVland. :D

I agree with you Solomon. Also, I wonder why WH as opposed to some other show, like 227?

Pavan

WH did decent for them when it was airing at 11pm.

Ireneparalegal

I am sure WH did good ratings wise, but 227 was never given a decent shot.

Actually, What's Happening Now!! was longer by one episode. What's Happening!! had 65 episodes while What's Happening Now!! finished 66 episodes during it's run.

I hope this is maybe an indication that there is a cross-promotion in the works to hype up What's Happening!! so they can get to releasing What's Happening Now!! on dvd. I want to see the episode where Nadine and Shirley get stranded and there is a killer on the loose. I love that one!

I wasn' saying air What's Happening Now instead I was saying air both of them together since they were both short

I agree with you Solomon, twice a night is too much for a three season sitcom.

It should be on at 9pm on Sat and 9pm on Sun that way it would stay more FRESH. Season 1 would take MUCH LONGER to complete

It would be great if they aired them together. I would love to see more WHN!! than what they've shown in the past. :)

I agree but you know how TVLand is. It will be switched out with something else after one or two complete runs. To state, what we all said last summer, how about some Whats Happening Now!!, that is a hard find in syndication.

One benefit from this that we could possibly see the Doobie Brothers episodes aired together since that is the only two parter WH had, lol.

It's strange though. Are there legal issues involved with placing it back on the schedule? Because how can you tell how successful the show is doing by putting it on for such a limited time?

I think the ratings declined coz lots of people would rather watch WH on DVD. I mean why would they want to watch the edited eps. on TV Land when they can see all the uncut eps from all 3 seasons on DVD?

I always wondered that also. If you recall earlier in the summer, there was an article about Fred Berry's wife suing Sony Entertainment for the use of Fred's image and likeness. But like everyone else said, the series is on DVD and can be found at rental stores such as Hollywood Video so I would rather watch those.

I have thrown my hands up in the air with TV Land and Nick at Nite. In the nineteen years that I have been watching this(these) network(s), I have never been so frustrated or disappointed with the disorganization of the programming. I don't see things getting better. It is like they are slapping things like putty up against the walls to see if will stick and if it does not, they throw some more in place of the other putty. I am going to amazon and try to buy every TV show that I might like in my collection over time. My season three of "W.H.!" just came in the mail so now I do have the enitre series. Do what you want TV Land.

I know what you mean brother...Damn, this is more frustrating than trying on a pair of pants that are too damn small!

Really, what are they snorting over at TVLand????

I am sticking with DVD's. This is a bunch of malarkey!

Nick at Nite with their constant Fresh Prince marathons is horrendous. Someone must like FP over there.

FP is on NAN, then it is also on Noggin during the primetime. Give it its own network. I'll bet Will Smith himself is tired of repeated airings, maybe that is why he went to go find the pursuit of happiness.

I know!!!! My five year old son watches Noggin for the children's programming and then I can tell when FP has come on because he gets mad and screams, "MOM!!!" His way of saying his programming his over and that piece of crap FP is on.

My God, FP seems to be on all the friggin time!

I haven't watched Nick-at-Nite in years. Every once in a while I would catch some of Cosby but there's nothing entertaining on there anymore. I haven't watched that channel regularly since The Lucy Show was on. As for TV Land, the last time I watched in recent days was when they showed a mini-marathon of What's Happening Now!! and The Ropers overnight. I haven't caught their regular programming in several years. No need to when you can watch TV-on-DVD. I wouldn't be surprised if Nick-at-Nite was headed for some sort of takeover and re-vamp soon. They need it.

TV Land is owned by Viacom, and that channel, along with other Viacom-owned channels, has been known to screw up its programming. What just happened with WH is just the most recent example. TV Land, once they put a gem on, yanks it immediately just as one is getting into the show.
