I sure am! My trees up, my lights are on outside, and christmas music is blasting. I just love it!:D

This year seems pretty decent so far :) My best friend is on her way to N.Y. to spend a little over a week with me (I've got the apartment downstairs all stocked up with munchies, sodas, alcohol, etc). She'll be here tomorrow afternoon :D It'll be nice to spend a part of this season with her.

Not only that, but we've got a ticket to the Holiday Lights Spectacular at Jones Beach! :woohoo: That should put us in the Christmas spirit!

I'm having a really good holiday season this year as well. The best that I've had in quite a few years. :) There is snow on the ground, everyone has their lights up and we have our tree up. The only thing I can't stand is the damn Christmas music. :lol: If I have to hear "Grandma Got Run Over By A Raindeer" one more time I am going to loose my mind. :lol:

Well, there are some Christmas songs like "Happy X-Mas" by John Lennon and "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses that I really like, but too much Christmas music is performed by people like Celine Dion. :barf:

No, really, I love putting lights up on my house. I kinda try to compete with my neighbors. I even got a tree, the first one I've had in a while. I just haven't felt like putting one up before.

Also, just found a house a few blocks from me that has his lights synchronized. When you get near the house, you set your car radio to 102.1 and his lights play along with the music of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Just like that guy did last year who put his on the internet. I guess that's the new thing.

I love Christmas too. Although I usually wait till 2 weeks before the 25th before the decorations go up, and take them down two weeks after.

Kinda a tradition thing :crazy:

Not paticularly, I've done my Christmas Shopping and everything. But due to my families hostility against me with the fact that I'm gay, and evergoing bashing and demeaning comments to me which have been extremely bad these past couple months. I've been rather depressed. Planning to go on a little vacation though over the holidays, which I hope will boost my spirits.

I love Christmas and look forward to it. I don't really get excited about until it gets closer the Christmas Day.

As for Christmas music: I love it. Except the reindeer running over grandma song. I've hated that since the first day it came out. I love "The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole and "Step Into Christmas" by Elton John, just to name a few.

I think the inside will get decorated this weekend. The outside is done.

Hehehe Welll of course I'm grateful for everything I get, but I don't think getting presents is the meaning of christmas, I'd still be perfectly happy without them. :)

The only thing is that my mother has been singing Christmas songs since September. She won't stop until around March. :lol: She says that she drives her co-workers nuts. :lol:

My family members (aunts) are usually not inviting us over, I socially have bad luck, everyone's busy and doesn't make time, etc. It's just....blah. I would be happy to just skip right over to January 2nd.

im getting in the christmas spirit now...we went christmas shopping today and we put our tree up last night :woohoo: we're going to finish decorating this week...we couldnt put the outside up last night cause it was COLD.

To relieve some of that depression, I do plan on cleaning up my apartment and then putting my up small silver Christmas tree with white lights and stringing all of the Christmas cards I have collected over the years. What makes some of them special is that I have some cards from Sweden, Spain, Germany, Holland, France, the UK, and Bolivia. I plan on decorating over the next week.

I used to love Christmas a lot, but now I don't really care anymore. I don't know if it's because I'm not a kid anymore or what, but I haven't been in the Christmas spirit for a few years now. It doesn't even feel like Christmas. We have a tree up and lights and all that, but it just feels like any other normal day to me.

Just kidding. I can't really complain this Christmas season. I'm alive, and my friends and family are all around and healthy, so I have no complaints.
