Loved Beat the Clock with Bud Collyer. Was on every saturday night at 7:30 for years. The sponsor was Sylvania light bulbs and Roxanne was the pretty hostess. Collyer played Superman on radio for many years. Other quiz shows I liked were 'A dollar as second" and " treasure Island" because Jan Murray was the host. Truly a funny guy. Remember when Carson got his start, first as host of "earn your vacation" and then "Do you trust your wife" Quiz shows were a good proving grounds for comedians. Richard Dawson from Hogan's Hero's, had a long run as host of "family Feud.

What's my line with John Charles Daly I hated becuse Daly was so bland.
