I use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. For special dishes or baking, I'll use butter. I also use Brummel & Brown, which is a spread with a yogurt base.

I CANT BELIEVE ITS NOT BUTTER!!! Number 9 Dream 12-02-2006, 11:39 PM Butter :) tdf4077 12-03-2006, 11:35 AM For me, it depends. I grew up on margarine, but my roommate will ONLY use butter, so i've kinda shifted. Personally, though, if it's something like on a roll or corn or the such that I'm going to taste, butter...if i'm baking something, margarine (it melts easier) or applesauce. Brian Damage 12-03-2006, 11:43 AM Margarine or a spread like Country Crock. (Not sure what that is, but I really like it.) Courtnee 12-03-2006, 11:56 AM neither :barf: Brieannas21 12-03-2006, 01:21 PM I use Butter for baking and roasting, and I'll use Margarine for everything else. gilligan fanatic 12-03-2006, 02:10 PM we use margarine for bread and what not and butter for cooking rusyd 12-03-2006, 02:40 PM We use Country Crock, but I like butter best. Mr. Stefani 12-03-2006, 02:43 PM I'm glad this was made..I just have one question..What the hell is blue bonnet? I was trying to make some grilled cheese and couldn't find margine and thats all we had. Janice 12-03-2006, 02:48 PM I'm glad this was made..I just have one question..What the hell is blue bonnet? I was trying to make some grilled cheese and couldn't find margine and thats all we had. Blue Bonnet is margarine. Wow, that goes way back. I didn't know they still made that. Their old tv jingle... "Everything's better, with Blue Bonnet on it" :music: Mr. Stefani 12-03-2006, 02:50 PM Blue Bonnet is margarine. Wow, that goes way back. I didn't know they still made that. Their old tv jingle... "Everything's better, with Blue Bonnet on it" :music: I honestly stood there for a good 5 minutes reading the thing trying to figure out what it was. Ended up making a bagel instead:lol: Janice 12-03-2006, 02:52 PM I honestly stood there for a good 5 minutes reading the thing trying to figure out what it was. Brad Russ 12-03-2006, 09:27 PM We use to use margarine back when everyone thought it was better for you, but now we only use butter. DLevine2 12-04-2006, 07:25 PM I will say margarine.. "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray or spread. We use margarine. cmcb06 12-05-2006, 08:25 AM I don't use either usually, as the fat content is outrageously high in such products, and I have no desire to have a massive heart attack and or open heart surgery. But when cooking, and the recipe calls for it, I use butter. jpcanes 12-05-2006, 10:37 AM I use both, but much prefer butter. ;) swedeace 12-09-2006, 06:26 PM Margerine. It just seems smoother and easier to work with than butter sticks. Brad Russ 12-09-2006, 06:36 PM I'm glad this was made..I just have one question..What the hell is blue bonnet? I was trying to make some grilled cheese and couldn't find margine and thats all we had. It's kind of funny that you mention this, because this use to be the only kind of margarine/butter I would eat. For 10 years I ate blue bonnett, and if my parents bought anything else, I wouldn't go near it. I actually tried blue bonnett for the first time in like five years awhile back, and felt like I was going to puke: |
