I saw a picture from this ep. a while back that showed Gidget stepping into a bucket. What's that all about??? gidgetgrape 12-01-2006, 12:32 PM Gidget had too many dates for a dance so she decided to try and make herself sick by standing outdoors in a bucket of cold water. If she were sick she wouldn't have to go the dance. Russ caught her and made her go inside the house. Reagle_Beagle 12-01-2006, 09:48 PM Thanks for the reply. So what ends up happening at the dance? gidgetgrape 12-03-2006, 12:26 AM Gidget had 3 dates - Tate Cook, Corky Cook and her steady beau, Jeff. Tate and Corky are cousins who hate each other. So, at the dance Gidget has to keep Tate and Corky away from each other and find time to spend with Jeff. Okay, this is kinda complicated. Before the dance Gidget hires a guy to take her on his motorcycle back and forth from the dance to her house. She also takes LaRue's place on the welcoming committee so she can meet each date at the dance alone. At the dance, Gidget tries to stay away from her dates as much as possible by "welcoming." She realizes she can't keep that up (or dance with 3 guys without being totally exhausted) so she pretends to be sick and has Tate take her home. After she thinks he's gone, she hops on the motorcycle and goes through the same routine with Corky. Tate and Corky bump into each other outside of her house and see her on the motorcycle headed back to the dance. They figure out that she had dates with both of them and go back to the dance to confront her. They catch her dancing with Jeff. Surrounded by her 3 dates, she creeps out of the dance, and heads back home on the motorcycle thinking she and Jeff are over. Of course, it all works out.
