When I first started watching the Simpsons, I thought they were Catholic. But it got to me that Reverend Lovejoy was married, so I kinda thought they weren't Catholic. Does anyone know what religion they are? http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/confused.gif

I think they said Prestyberian (sp) but I'm not sure. I know it's some Protestant denomination.

Homer Simpson: "It takes two to lie, Marge! One to lie and one to listen!"
Antonio (Wings) "Oh, forgive me! I thought we could use a break from your 'All the good men are married or gay' speech!"
Robert (Everybody Loves Raymond): "It's always about you, Raymond. Raymond, Raymond, Raymond, everybody loves Raymond!"

I have a feeling they're pentecostal or baptist because they don't ever take communion. i remember an episode where the kids and homer were complaining to marge that they should become catholic because then they could at least get a little something to eat in the two hours that they are there. I know that anglican and catholics get communion and i think presbyterians do too since they are the scottish branch of anglicanism. At any road from the attitudes regarding religion that Lovejoy and especially Flanders i tend to think that they are in a more Evangelical denomination.
