Well,
I hate doing this, but these are traders that are personally banned from trading by my own doing:

1. Kix Dude (sorry, but you had me hold a ton of tapes and you didn't take them and I had to go out of my way to get this info from you)
2. Moreclueless Lots of wanting tapes, but then the great Houdini disappearing act.

I don't have time as I am sure most folks don't to deal with this nonsense.

that's funny that I still get posted as a "bad trader" even though I NEVER asked him to hold the tapes as a matter of fact I sent him a private message that I still have saved saying "I am not interested in your offer thank you"

turn somebody down I guess that means you're a bad trader. I am so done with this board anyways...

Ok,
Would you like me to post your emails or messages? Is this necessary? I believe I gave you credit for finally responding? It is what it is, I am a long time trader as this board can tell you, have brought a ton of shows to this board, attacking my statement without the correct facts is not a positive way to respond. I post the facts only, no emotion to it, its not worth it.

is it possible that maybe a PM or email just got overlooked here?

it seems possible that this was a simple miscommunication - if you each want to forward the information to me I can take a look at it, but let's not lose our cool here

this is a tough one

i try and be very anal about the confirmation of any deal

that cuts out any misunderstandings

I can't disagree with you there - I try not to have more than 2 trades going on at once, and stay in contact with the person every couple of days until the deal is done and packages are received.

no one should go waiting for an answer for weeks - I think if you are waiting on someone for more than two weeks, you should make another attempt to contact them, and if you don't get a response assume that they are not interested.

Alright facts only.....

I wrote him asking what he wanted for the tapes... He replied back. I replied back Saying I was not interested. That's that. End of Story. Just like you said, it is what it is... If you've been on this board for years I'm sure I haven't been the first one to turn down an offer from you. If I was to make a thread everytime someone turned me down I'd have a million posts by now. NOBODY HAS to trade with someone. If you are not able to come up with what the other person wants you have every right to turn it down.

FACTS

You know, this is the way it went, dates, times quotes:::::

9/8 PM to me: what would you want for those 90210 tapes? I want them BAD!!!

9/9 email to me: Hello,
I'm "kix_dude" from sitcoms. How many blanks would you need for those 90210
tapes? I can sent sony or TDK, whichever happens to be on sale.

Jason

9/9 Email Reply to Kix dude>I think about 50 tapes, so just make me an offer, I am open to whatever, is
>fair for both of us.
>
>Tom

9/9 Email to me: how about a spindle of 100?

NO RESPONSE to three emails sent 9/13, 9/15 and 9/18

PM Reply on 9/20 from Kixdude saying didn't you get my emails? Now, I ask you, if I received the pms and the emails before back and forth, then why on earth would I not receive these supposedly sent emails.

Further, he contacted me, made me an offer, I countered for an additional 50 blanks and then he disappeared for 10 days during which I turned down other offers. NOW, what part of this story is not a waste of my time?????????????
AND where after several back and forths was I told, I am not interested, THE CORRECT Facts are after several emails/pms, I got a (In my opinion) BS excuse that I wasn't getting emails and that due to a situation, he could not complete the deal. TO Me, there is no further clear cut definition of NO FOLLOW THROUGH Than this.

Point being, I hate excuses, firm believer in do what you say b/c that's what I do to the best of my ability. When this fails to happen, I simply report the occurence and retire the person in question from my trading list. End of story.

unless you guys want to FORWARD the emails and PM's directly to me, then I would have to consider this matter closed.

it seems that there was at least some miscommunication or misunderstanding - it does not seem that a deal was ever formally agreed upon. Should someone decide that they don't want to trade with either of these individuals based upon the information presented here then that is their perogative.
