I recently noticed that scenes from The Honeymooners have been used in more than one Christopher Walken film. First, in a scene from 1999's Blast From the Past, the main characters can be seen watching the episode "Little Man Who Wasn't There," (this is actually a continuity error because that particular scene takes place in 1965, when this episode was still "lost.") Walken's character in this movie also said something to the effect of, "People will never get sick of watching these." Then, most recently, in Wedding Crashers, Ron Canada's character is seen watching "Twas The Night Before Christmas," in one scene. I found this quite interesting, it seems like Mr. Walken is a fan of the show. Does anyone know if he ever mentioned it in any interviews or if scenes from The Honeymooners were used in any of his other films?

I'll have to watch these movies to see what your talking about because I didn't know about this before.

Thanks for the info. I had been wondering how many movies The Honeymooners appeared in. Christopher Walken is the only movie star I ever saw in person. He walked by me on a film shoot. He looked pale & creepy. The movie "Back to the Future also had an episode "Man from Space". Do you know of any other movies that it appeared on?
Thanks,

I can't think of any other movies, but I know that The Honeymooners was mentioned several times on The Wonder Years. I'm not sure which episodes, but I know there was more than one. I enjoy seeing things like this, but at the same time it seems like every time The Honeymooners is mentioned or seen in a movie or show, there's a problem with continuity. For example, in an episode of The Wonder Years, Jack Arnold describes the Lost Episode "Brother-In-Law," even though that episode was still "lost" at the time that episode took place. It's possible that the writers might've had the color remake of that episode in mind, but based on the way it was described, I'd say they were talking about the original. And also, here's something I found on Wikipedia about that scene in Back to the Future that you mentioned:

The 1985 film Back to the Future features a scene set in 1955, where the family of Lorraine Baines is watching an episode of The Honeymooners entitled "The Man from Space". This is technically an anachronism, however, as the scene takes place in November, while that episode did not air until December 31.
