I'm just kidding it's not your fault that I'm the only Dobie Gillis fan on this board.

I am a super Dobie fan.I loved Maynard and his independent ways.He always kept in touch with simple pleasures,and was a really kind- hearted young man.His personality was well-defined in the Dobie episode where he was explaining to Dobie how girls weren't for him.

"I'm a protest cat!"
"Maynard,what are you protesting against?"
"Like,I dunno,good buddy-but I won't let a girl drag me down before I find out!"

Dobie Gillis is one of my favorite shows and my favorite character is Dobie he was so cute and nice.

I would have to say Maynard cuz he's a Beat. He likes cool music, and poetry, and is one of the counter culture just like me. Yeah, Maynard is most like me, or vice versa.

I'm Dobie. I've always loved girls, and even used some of the techniques Dobie tried. My dad was also a grocer, and sometimes acted like Herbert!

You know I love Zelda as well. I can relate to several aspects of her personality, though I wouldn't go far enough to say our personalities are the same, but if I had to choose, I'd probably say she's the closest match.

Herbert T. Gillis -- I can sympathize with his aggravation, because I live by a school, and a lot of those young people are doing stupid things that tend to drive me insane...!

I would be Zelda Gilroy. When I want something I don't give up.

The character that most fits my personality has to be Thalia Menninger played by Tuesday Weld. She was very wealthy or at least her parents were and a big time socialite. I also grew up in a wealthy family with my Dad being a Neurologist and Mom being a Veterinarian. When I was a teenager I went to many up scale events. I was also always very picky with my men and still am to this day. I guess that is why I am 45 years old and have never married. :)

I forgot that I had replied to this a while back but I have to say that sometimes I'm Maynard b/c I always seem to be saying dumb things at the wrong moment.
