Its a shame that over 60% of the country does not have access to the nfl network. If your local team is playing on nfl network the game WILL be broadcast in your local market on a broadcast channel.

People who have cable should have DIRECTV or Comcast.

Most cable customers don't have a choice in cable companies.
I think Comcast is the on major cable company that carries NFL network.
I am seriously thinking of getting a dish just for that reason.

DirecTV doesn't have the NFL Network??? I find that hard to believe. The Dish Network has the channel

I don't know, the NFL is pretty good about keeping their games free. Even when its on cable the local market will get it over the air.

The reason the NFL is so popular is because the people have access to it. Boxing is a perfect example of a sport that has gone down hill since it went the pay route. I used to love watching the Heavyweight fights. I don't even miss it anymore.
