HOLLYWOOD - Bachelor Party star Tawny Kitaen has been charged with possessing 15 grams of cocaine in California.
A statement by the Orange County district attorney's office said police found the cocaine on May 21 in the San Juan Capistrano apartment she shares with her two children.

It was not immediately clear why police were at the apartment or why there was a delay in filing the charges. If convicted, the 45-year-old could face up to three years in prison.

In 2002, she was accused of attacking her husband, professional baseball player Chuck Finley, following an argument during dinner at a steakhouse.

The case was dismissed after she agreed to undergo counseling. The pair have since divorced.

Kitaen, who has appeared on TV shows such as Hercules and The Surreal Life, is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 18.

I agree. Her behavior on that show was bizarre. She broke up with her fiancee on the air and she was accusing him of being unfaithful. It is very common for being who do drugs to be paranoid and accuse their significant other of infidelities. I guess she was doing drugs then.

Tawny made headlines here in NE Ohio while she was still married to then Cleveland Indians pitcher Chuck Finley. I was listening to the radio; the 2002 Indians roundtable when they broke the news that Tawny was arrested for physically abusing Chuck. I'll never forget it. I never did find out: did he get sole custody of the kids? I know that when he filed for divorce he also filed for full custody.

As for Tawny, it really is sad how rock bottom she's hit. For her sake as well as her daughters' sake, I hope she cleans up her act.
