Regis and Kelly. There was a segment on Friday's Regis and Kelly when Clay couldn;t get a word in and Clay put his hand over her mouth and Kelly did not like it all. Kelly felt disrespected on the air and also stated-"I don't know where his hand has been"-LOL I have to agree with kelly on this one why the hell would he do something STUPID like that?

Clay seemed very bitter when they played a Halloween show clip from Regis & Kelly when Kelly was Clay for Halloween. Then it continued...with the hand thing. It is Kelly's show, so Clay was disrespectful. He was a guest.

I don't have a clip of how it started with the Halloween clip, but here are two clips:

Clay putting his hand over Kelly's mouth (Friday): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD3LAgehTqc&NR
Kelly's statement the next show (Monday): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFEZ9jkO14I

On The View this morning, Rosie accused Kelly of making a homophobic remark. Kelly ended up calling the show to give her view on the incident. I see it like this, you do not put your hand over someone else's mouth. You don't where people's hands have been.

I don't think there was anything homophobic about the remark. Rosie is ********. So I guess if he was straight then that's when Kelly was supposed to have a problem with him puting his hand over her mouth

First of all, you don't have a guest on and then interrupt them when they are trying to speak. It is rude to interrupt, period.

Second, it was rude for Clay. Bottom line, you tell the person that they are being rude for not allowing you to speak and then say what you need to say, not put your hands on their mouth. It has nothing to do with homophobia.

Outrageous is right, Kelly. Rosie felt what she had to say, but I don't see it her way.
Don't you just love sweeps? Sometimes it makes me wonder if these things are done on purpose, lol? Did Richards go crazy to sell the Seinfeld DVD, lol? Just kidding on that one ;)

Wait, has Clay Aiken officially come out of the closet?
If not, then how could Kelly Ripa be homophobic?
Did Rosie out Clay?

ANd why do I have so many freaking questions about this?

;)

I'll have to tune in tomorrow for Live! with Regis & Kelly to see what Reege has to say about Kelly's call in.

Clay has not come out. So, Rosie thinks he is gay...I'm sure Clay is now upset at her too, lol.

Yeah....you do have a surprising number of questions on this topic lol!

I thought Clay had come out. Rosie should just stay out of it....I liked her when she had her own show a long time ago, but ever since she and Tom Selleck got into that huge fight years ago about gun control, she's just become a really big...well...you get the idea!

This incident occurred on Friday, Regis already commented on this situation. If you are referring to the Rosie thing, then that must be something he may talk abt.

I bet Clay is pissed at Rosie now. Besides, who made Rosie the boss to speak up whenever something happens? Why did she feel to make it her business to speak up, even if it is someone who is "gay"? Did they make her their spokesperson for "when bad things happen to gays"?

Madame X

Rosie O'Donnell freaked out and was way out of line. It seems the gays are hyper-sensitive and every word is disrespectful to them. If anyone put their hand over my mouth, I wouldn't like it. I am not gay and I am not famous. It is merely a disrespectful and invasive act to a human being. I would definitely wonder where his hand has been.

Does everything have to be classified as gay or straight? What ever happened to good old-fashioned rude, stupid or insensitive?

I just watched INSIDE EDITION and they came up with two incidents that occurred within the same week last February where KELLY PUT HER HAND ON REGIS' MOUTH EXACTLY THE SAME WAY CLAY AIKEN DID TO HER. I went to the Inside Edition website but they don't have the video link yet of the story. It just mentions how Kelly was "caught".

This whole incident seems much ado about nothing... all the brouhaha because Clay put his hand over her mouth! I saw the clip on ET showing her doing the exact same thing to Regis a few months ago, so Kelly needs to just move on...

The point you are missing is-"KELLY and REGIS" are COOL, "KELLY and CLAY" are not. Big Difference

Side Note: Kely is in Philly This morning and just found out she is from the south Jersey/Philly area. Never Knew that

1. Clay Aiken was a guest on her show. You shouldn't put your hands on anyone's mouth, especially the host. When Kelly did it to Regis it was rude also, but the show is called Live with Regis AND KELLY.

2. Rosie O'Donnell hasn't been funny a day in her life.
And as far as social commentator, she is a better comedian.

And she acts like the Al Sharpton of gay issues.

It's crazy that there is such a big deal being made out of this. He was a guest on her show. He should have let her talk instead of basically telling her to shut up. End of story.

Ok, First I have nothing against Clay,Kelly, or Rosie, but Clay Aiken should not have put HIS hand over Kelly Ripa's mouth. That is rude and disgrading to Ripa. Now Rosie took it as being gay. But then again in a way Rosie kinda called Clay Aiken gay himself. So I hope to see that they will be friends after all of this, but the bottom line is you shouldn't put your hand on mouthes of anyone. It's rude.

Well it is good that Ripa made a statement against homosexuality. Homosexuality is nothing but moral degeneracy and all homosexuals should be kicked out of the United States and banished to an island in the South Pacific to live their perverted lifestyle away from all normal heterosexuals until the day that they pass away and go to Hell.

If that's the opinion of a "normal" person, I think I'd rather be on that island.

What a load of garbage. You can't even get the story straight. Kelly didn't say anything abt homosexuality. Why do you go from boards to boards bashing everything? You have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything. If you agree with Kelly, then agree with what she did, but you got it all wrong. It was Rosie who was defending Clay as a homosexual. How long you last here spewing your stupid negativity on EVERY thread is only a matter of time. You go to different sitcom threads and bash everything. If you don't care abt the board, then don't bother with us.

What are you some kind of a low life homosexual that you are sticking up for homosexuality? Well if O'Donnell was defending homosexuality then something must have been stated against homosexuality in the first place. And defending homosexuality is total perversion. All homosexuals should be kicked out of the United States and banished to an island in the South Pacific to live their perverted lifestyle away from all normal heterosexuals until the day that they pass away and go to Hell.
