I know we normally only deal with tv shows here but there is one old movie I have been trying to track down without success for ages. If anyone here can help I'd be most grateful. I believe it was made in the early 1950s, an old b & w thriller which I am convinced was named 'Johnny Halliday'. It starred either Spencer Tracy or William Bendix, I always confused the two, and told the story of a young boy who was sent to some sort of reformatory school where the guard played by either Tracy ir Bendix eventually brought him back to the straight and narrow. I saw this movie so many times on tv growing up as a kid but can find no record of it in any searches I have conducted. Would really appreciate any help with this one.

Yes, I have the movie Johnny Holiday. It stars not only Bill Bendix but also Hoagie Carmichael & Stanley (East Side Kids) Clements. Good movie with a great Carmichael penned Christmas song in it.:)
