I'm not even sure this can be classed as a gen-u-wine blooper...you tell me.

Notice the orange half-wall behind Bobby, as he enters that mysterious, ever-changing service porch just off the kitchen.

See how flat it is in relation to the brown wooden doors above, which, themselves, look glued on?

Look closely at the orange wall again. Is that a paint brush mark in the orange paint, as if the set designers didn't have enough to time to finish?

And what were they implying with this area of the set? That it's a view of the rest of the kitchen on the far right in the last screen capture, where the avacado green bread box is?

I guess we'll never know.

I'm still trying to find out where poor Alice slept.

LOL

It looks like their intention was to make viewers think that the service area was somewhere near the kitchen, due to the similar colors.

I think this qualifies as a set blooper. You can tell by looking at it that the cabinets both above & below the orange section are glued on. Also, where's the counter?

"Where's the counter."

LOL

EXACTLY!

It simply didn't exist in two dimensions.

I noticed this years ago. I am sad in that when I really love a show I try and work out how it is put together (so to speak).

Perhaps they shot the utility room scenes last and dismanteled the main kitchen set. Goodness knows why they didn't keep the kitchen cabinets attached to the wall.
