Hi was watching the THS on E! about Friends and they mentioned Nancy was considered for the part of Monica. I think Nancy would have been great! too bad.

I think I would still have enjoyed the shw more with Courteney Cox. I just don't see Nancy as Monica and I'm glad she was never a part of the show.

I had heard that before. I think it's funny just in that a lot of people think that Nancy in later life looks a lot like Courteney Cox. Something about the hair and look.

I think she totally could have done it, though Courteney of course was great in the role. Producers were probably scared people would too heavily associate Nancy with Jo.

Yeah I got a magazine about the show friends and it said in the mag that during Courtney’s audition she was in the rest room and she heard Nancy was in the stall next to her and Courtney was scared she probably wouldn't get the part since Nancy was there but she did. I think it would of been ironic if Nancy got the part cause then she would of been on another long running NBC show and that cast was also a close net cast just like the Facts cast was. But I couldn't see Nancy playing someone who falls in love with Chandler I think him and Courtney were cute together.

Yeah I taped the ETHS about Friends. I didn't know that Nancy auditioned for it. I think she is the best as Jo though. She wouldn't have really fit as Monica. Courteney Cox is perfect for the role.

OK-TWO THINGS. FIRST, YOU GUYS SEEM TO FORGET THAT NANCY IS A GREAT ACTRESS. I PERSONALLY FEEL SHE COULD'VE PULLED IT OFF. TOO BAD SHE WASN'T ON FRIENDS. I WOULD HAVE WATCHED IT THEN, AND MAN, THAT WOULDV'E BEEN AWESOME FOR HER TO BE ON A SHOW THAT RAN FOR 9 YEARS, THEN ON ANOTHER ONE? OH WELL, I'M GLAD SHE KEPT CONTINUING TO ACT, THOUGH.

AND THE SECOND THING...I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW EXACTLY HOW COURTNEY "HEARD" THAT NANCY WAS IN THE STALL NEXT TO HER! WAS NANCY SINGING THE FACTS OF LIFE THEME? QUOTING SOME GOOD OL JO LINES? WAS SHE PREPARING FOR HER READ ON FRIENDS? I'M DYIN' TO KNOW! COURTNEY-P.M. ME BABE. IT'LL BE OUR LITTLE SECRET;)
