View Full Version : Honeymooners Comics
Bill S. 11-17-2006, 05:28 PM I know Triad put out a collection of Honeymooners comic books in the 80's, but I just found out recently that there were some made in the 50's as well. I found a few on eBay, one is actually up for $120, but there's no picture. Does anyone have any further information on these...how many were made, etc.? Here's the few I found:

TV Knowledge Fan 11-17-2006, 05:34 PM ...had a monthly series of "Jackie Gleason" comic books during the '50s, spotlightling not only "Ralph", but "Reggie", "Fenwick Babbitt", "The Poor Soul", "Rudy", "Joe", "Charlie Bratten", and virtually every character Jackie ever portrayed on his variety show. They sold quite well...and are extremely hard to find! Which is why some of them are up for sale on eBay.....

Very interesting!!! I didn't know that there were Honeymooners comic books made in the 50's.
*ClassicPinUp* 11-17-2006, 06:49 PM There were 12 Jackie Gleason and The Honeymooner comic books published in the 50's.
3 in 1956, 6 in 1957 & 3 in 1958.

Yeah, since there's only 12, I might have to pick myself up some early christmas gifts. Gotta get the mouse trap ready too, just incase somebody tries to peak under the ice box. ;)

Despite the website name, I don't believe he is connected to Gleason in anyway. I've been outbid by him in the past for Gleason items on Ebay.

I just noticed that there's four more Jackie Gleason/Honeymooners comics to the right of the 12 from 50's on Page 1. Any idea what those are?
