When she schemes to get her daughter back. Of course she misses her child and wants her back................... Even though she blew the right to have Penny by abusing her, who can blame her for wanting her daughter back?:( :)

I disagree. I think she wanted Penny back for the wrong reasons. Her mother was a selfish person who didn't put her daughter first.

I agree.

Because she happened to marry a man with money, doesn't make her a better mother. She still had her anger and tendencies to want to hurt Penny.

And I agree with that. She wanted Penny back for the wrong reasons. She would still be abusing Penny, even though she was now married. As the saying goes "leopards don't change their spots overnight".

Well, if he was any sort of human being, I would hope so. But, Penny's mother needed professional help.
