This is not breaking News because there is no release date for season 6. All you saw was NEWS in regards to the release of season 6. Breaking News would be if a release date was announced.

Thanks for posting Matt! I just saw the news over there too. I'm happy we will be seeing the next season in 2007. I wonder if the packaging will be different as Sony has now been releasing TV-dvds in the slim cases. I think they will most-likely go ahead and release the entire series at this point. I mean, they only have 3 seasons left. It just depends on the rate which they release them.

I also hope ABP-Season 2 comes out in 2007. I'm sure everyone would want to see the infamous 2-parter where Archie and Stephanie mourn the loss of Edith.

Can't wait for the official date and coverart! :)

Right, Good News, not Breaking News

Lets not split hairs here all over wording...it is great news that another season is coming out...leave the poor guy alone! He was nice enough to share the news with all of us. ;)

Lets just all make sure that we buy seson 6. Maybe that will speed the remaining three seasons up a bit. From what I understand, sales haven't been what they've hoped, otherwise we'd probably have seen the whole series out by know (a la Sanford and Son, Good Times, and What's Happening) Otherwise, at this rate we can expect the whole series to come out by first quarter of 2010. Either way, Im glad its still being released.


Its pretty much on target with their previous release strategy. Sure I wish they'd come out faster but they're coming out and thats goodness:

I figured, Id see some news about AITF season 6 coming to DVD and that is what I read.

Oh this is good news, can't wait for it to be come out. I was cracking up when after Gloria tells Archie, she goes running into the kitchen and Archie tells her, Don't run you're going to wake up the baby or to that effect. LOL. Gloria was wearing high heel shoes.
