View Full Version : Dvd+R Brand Disk Help Please! dancingmasters 11-17-2006, 12:27 PM Hello, of these three Dvd+r disk brands which one is the Best one overall? TDK+R SONY+R PHILIPS+R I plan on using these disks for transfering VHS tapes to DVD. Thank you for your help! LOL before someone gets mad, including you honey, i'm just joking. seriously dvd recorders are picky but not as picky as duplicators. of the ones you mentioned, i agree with lamont. sony, then tdk, then phillips. my standalones aren't that chosey, but my duplicator can be a pain. i have come to find that tys work with both without any problem. thanks jie3 11-17-2006, 11:48 PM Quick Question. Is Office Depot a good brand (we don't have it over here)? It's just that when I get a disc in a trade that doesn't play too smoothly, it usually seems to be Office Depot branded. Not all OD discs that I get are like that, but those ones that are bad, are often OD.
