Hello, of these three Dvd+r disk brands which one is the Best one overall?
TDK+R
SONY+R
PHILIPS+R
I plan on using these disks for transfering VHS tapes to DVD.
Thank you for your help!

it all depends on your machines

FOR INSTANCE i prefer SONY of those 3
THEN TDK and phillips last
BUT i have some machines that wont read TDK or VERBATIM at all
so its still trial and error

hi, dvd recorders are like wives? picky!! LOL before someone gets mad, including you honey, i'm just joking. seriously dvd recorders are picky but not as picky as duplicators. of the ones you mentioned, i agree with lamont. sony, then tdk, then phillips. my standalones aren't that chosey, but my duplicator can be a pain. i have come to find that tys work with both without any problem. thanks

Quick Question.

Is Office Depot a good brand (we don't have it over here)?

It's just that when I get a disc in a trade that doesn't play too smoothly, it usually seems to be Office Depot branded.

Not all OD discs that I get are like that, but those ones that are bad, are often OD.

its not good. people are just being cheap. good blanks are cheap enough so i dont understand why people insist on getting straight junk media.

If I get a ridata, I now don't even look at them. I send to Norm, tell him to keep them and send me the copies he makes. He somehow is able to read them. Memorex is another brand I hate.
