Does anyone know the title of the Christmas ep that aired in Season 4?
TV.com shows it as "Thelma Frye, Dough Girl" but they also show the first
ep of Season 4 having the same title!
Please post or email me if you can help me figure it out!
Thanks!!!

Hi, The Christmas episode for Season 4 is Thelma Frye, Dough Girl. That website has a goof on it, as Season 4 starts with The Engagement. Hope that answers your question.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate that info. I watched "Engagement" and
she was rolling some dough so I thought it could have that title so it
was confusing! TV.com needs to correct their titles.
Thanks again!

You know, I never made that connection before...that's probably how they got it confused. If you haven't seen the episode, "Thelma Frye, Dough Girl" you'll understand why it's called that after you've seen it. Let's just say Thelma's bread baking gets a little out of hand or the oven.

After reading your post, I HAD to watch the ep and it was hilarious! That's what would happen if I tried to bake/cook!
Thanks again for your help! Too bad TV.com has the titles all messed up...

Yes, that was one of Thelma's best. Another favorite of mine was the time she made a turkey and cleaned it with dish soap. When the Deacon cut into the turkey at dinner, there were bubbles blowing everywhere.
I'd love to hear other people's favorite Thelma cooking scenes.

That indeed was a funny episode. The last season also had a funny episode with a pregnant Thelma hosting a cooking show while Amelia was the one actually making the food. Tempers flare...and well, you can probably figure out the rest.

Just today this ep aired on "Ion". It's odd that "ion's" schedule is following tv.com's faulty listing - airing it at the start of season 4.
And the title on the Directv listings said " Thelma Frye'd, Dough Girl" with the "d" added.
Also, because Thelma is home on a weekend pass from the Army, I suppose it's a pun/reference to the army: from wikipedia: "Doughboy is a now-outdated slang term for an American infantryman, best known from its use in World War 1"
