This doesn't have anything to do with trading EXCEPT many of us author discs. My personal situation is that we have alot of friends & family scattered across the country. My mom is 89 & has declined alot in the past year. SO...this year, some people on our Holiday Card List will be getting a homemade DVD with clips from Christmases past. These are all clips from recordings made with my camcorder, possibly some photos, all set to music with graphics thrown in for fun. The highlight will be last year on Christmas Eve. My mom went on a rant for 15 minutes because the new associate pastor had the gall to show up for the Christmas Eve service in BLUE JEANS. ("They may do that in the country, but this is the CITY.") She was totally serious about this and had the rest of us rolling in the aisles (while wearing our blue jeans.)

So...is anyone else sending out a family DVD this year?

I've wanted to put our christmas videos on DVD for so long and can never find the time. We have one classic one where my little sister is talking about how santa came out of the sky with the presents. She looks up like she's thinking about that and gets this horrified look on her face like she's realizing how odd that actually is. She loves it when we show that clip to her boyfriends. lol! We also have one where the camera had a setting to record for 15 seconds every 20 minutes. It gets really interesting once people had a few drinks.
