Don't get me wrong, Bently's a good guy, and deserved pretty women, but he was portrayed as a dork. He was the type who women laughed at. I was watching an episode yesterday, and a beautiful blonde was curled next to him on the Jeffersons' couch. Man, was he a dork, but he was also a playa!

The man had a very prestigious job- also take a close look at the personalities of the women he dated- they may have been young and modelesque- but they were all either portrayed as being shallow, vain, eccentric or a bit crazy. In some ways Harry was too good for them.

Oh I am sure the "other" personality came out when he was alone with these women. One thing, he liked to cook for the ladies. Ladies love a man who can cook. And I don't mean frozen food junk, he obviously knew some fancy dishes. He probably also told women what they liked to hear. Not to mention his career and the $$$ was also a plus.

You got a point. Maybe Mr. Bently could show Ralph Furley how to pull some pretty women.

Plus women like men who have confidence (not Vain) and Bently had that. That's why a lot of shy men don't get the ladies.

British Accent gets da droz, dog! (channeling Tommy Strong from Martin)

Plus when his back is straightened out he's just a love machine (and he won't work for anybody but you Mmm-Ooohh-Yeah!).

Why do you think he was always asking George to do his walk routine?
All those excuses he gave were just a cover story.
Bentley literally needs to put his back into it! :p LOL! (I'm crazy)

 You crack me up.

Brie, you are so damn right, the ladies love a man who is confident. Not stuck up or vain like you said, but confident. Bentley was not all that in the looks department, but show me a man with confidence, a man who knows how to dress whether it's casual dress or dressed up in a suit, a man who loves to cook or at least enjoy a great restaurant, throw on a good smellling cologne and VIOLA!:D

The ep last night showed that Bentley would have had a THREESOME because his girlfriend brung her friend over but Tom Willis came over his place because he didn't know what to do with himself. So the other was talking to Tom instead of playing with Bentley and his Girl-lol

You've never had bad back pain then. You'll do anything to get relief, After I had my first baby I had my back go out and it was painful as hell. You can't sleep right, sneezing is out of the question, going to the bathroom is a chore in it's own, just trying to turn over in bed can take 5 minutes, the pain and travels down your legs. So if it calls for a grown man or woman to walk on my back for relief then that's what will happen.

I think that's one of the top 5 worst pains

Been there, Done that.

They won't do anything but Xray your back touch and feel it to make it worst, give you some pills or a shot and send you home and you'll STILL be in pain.

Believe me IT IS!!!!! I have never experienced the worst pain until my back problems occurred. I would rather go thru LABOR again than that back pain!

For me I think back pain would be number 3, Labor would be number 1. I had back Labor with my second baby and that was painful as hell though. Broken bone would be number 2 LOL

I thought labor was the worst. After I came out of surgery for my back, I was crying to the nurse saying I would rather be in labor than deal with the pain I was in after surgery. That surgery DID NOTHING FOR ME! Here I am 8 years later still in pain. The pain varies but when it gets bad (as it did shortly after my vacation) it gets BAD!!!! In bed for three weeks, couldn't move, no meds dulled the pain. At least labor pain is temporary and you have a blessing after all that pain.

You should be scared Solomon. Thank your lucky stars you haven't experienced back pain. I have been to the E.R. 18 times since 1998. All they do is give you a shot for pain relief and you are so damn sleepy for three days. I don't know what is worse, the pain or being so damn sleepy and being a zombie.

I have had 4 MRI's, 18 x-rays, discectomy, surgery (spinal fusion of my lower back) 5 steroid injection procedures, physical therapy, pool/water therapy....NADA, ZILCH...only temporary relief.

I know of what you speak, my mom has been in 4 car wrecks and the last one she was in was really bad it totalled her car. And has gone through a lot of things that you've listed and she still have back problems. About a year and a half ago her back gave out completely and she was literally in bed and in pain for a whole month. Till this day she still has some numbness in her leg. But thankfully she hasn't been down like that again, she's been down twice and the last time it was bad. Sitting in the ER with her twice while she was crying wasn't fun. I'm the kind of person, where if I see my mom or dad cry, I'll start crying  so it was a sight to see those nights in the hospital ER.

Four car accidents???? OMG, that is terrible. And you know, with each impact, that sure doesn't help her back. I too get some bad pain down my right leg. During that time of the month the pressure on my spine from being bloated makes that time of the month that much more unbearable.

I was wondering the same thing myself. But Mr. Bentley was a good guy with a nice career and obviously enjoyed the finer things in life, like concerts, plays and fine wine, etc. He was a bit eccentric and not classically handsome, but he wasn't a bad catch at all. Plus, a lot of these women were just referred to and not actually seen. I just wonder what these ladies would think if they knew Harry was once a crazy guy who used to run around painting numbers on everything (remember Paul Benedict in the early days of Sesame Street)?
