It went to ABC as stated in your post. LOL. NBC was on the verge of canceling it due to low ratings. ABC had bumped a second season of "Three's A Crowd" for "Different Strokes". The "Three's Company" producers got their just deserts.

The hiatus on ABC killed me when I was younger. The last episode I saw was Arnold kissing Lisa and I was so happy to see Arnold kiss a girl. Then it all ended. LOL

I looked up The Schedule and I saw the riday Night Schedule
and now I remember watching Webster at 7:00 pm Mr Belevedere at 7:30 pm Diffrent Strokes at 8:00 pm Nenson at 8:30 pm and Spenser For Hire at 9:00 pm.
