Finally Eric has woken up from his unmusical limbo and dished out a decent album (again). 'Twas about time......

8) Yep, this JJ Cale and Eric Clapton's joint album....finally! After Eric's recent whimpy stuff, he has teamed up with Cale (again) and has dished out a "decent" album....again! I just listened to "When this war is over" and I must say it kix ass!!! NO PARANOIA!!!!     8)

Thanks for the post, I will go out and buy it.

But I must disagree with you about Clapton's past CD's. I really love the one he did with B.B. King, are you saying that one was bad???

Again thanks for the post was planning to buy the CD.

:) Glad to be of service! By no means is that CD bad....Eric was making a big comeback with that one, but there was 1 or 2 in the 80s I think that were kind of whimpy...if I dig them out, I'll post them here. I mean, from the man
who gave us the rockier version of Cale's "Cocaine" and played in Cream, there is just NO 2nd best!!!

Just for the records, I dig "When this war is over" better than Neil Young's "Living with war" *WINK*.
