Philly has no right to complain because San Diego has fared worse. The Padres have been around since 1969 and have never won the World Series. The Chargers have been to the Super Bowl only once (got trounced by the 49ers) and they've been around before the Padres.

Detroit wins championships, just not in my sport of football. The Lions haven't won a championship since 1957; even my parents haven't seen a football championship for Detroit.

I don't know why I get so much pleasure out of seeing philly teams lose. It all started in the fall of 86 and i have to ask my mom

It's a shame cuz you live (in my opinion) one of the best sports towns in the country. You have so many choices year round, and all those still, relatively new arenas and ballparks to go check out a game i don't think you realize how good you really have it

BTW, Philly dropped in the Sporting News "Best Sports Town" poll in 2006 to #9

Nashville's still only had pro sports teams for a bit under 10 years (Titans and Predators didn't come to town until late 90s), so nothing here yet. Titans have definitely gotten close though.

That said, personally, I could care less if either team wins their championship.

I really don't remember how my hatred for Philly Teams started-lol The person who probably would have known was my stepdad but he passed away in 1993 so I may never know. He got me into football in 86 but I have no idea how I started hating the Eagles. I was 10 years so It was so long ago I can't remember
