Give this a read (http://www.nj.com/columns/ledger/sepinwall/index.ssf?/base/columns-0/1165388570187490.xml&coll=1)
Not that it's likely to be on much longer. This ninth season is planned as a victory lap; when the schedule was announced back in May, CBS boss Les Moonves said, "We're going to send it off properly."
If the numbers are huge, that thinking obviously changes.
Please...go vote for KoQ for People's Choice award!!!! (http://www.pcavote.com/vote/)
It can only HELP!!!!

Here's another article. I think it's done after this season and the decision has already been made. It is the 9th season afterall, and according to this will get a proper sendoff.
As for "Rules," CBS plans to air seven episodes of the laffer on Mondays. On April 9, net will bring back "King of Queens" -- which goes on hiatus after its Jan. 3 broadcast -- in the 9:30 p.m. Monday slot.
CBS will have seven episodes of "Queens" in the can, which means the skein's series finale will likely air on May 21. Net hasn't locked in any dates for the finale, however.

Yeah, well, CBS also decided that the 5th season of Yes, Dear would be it's last, but it ended up coming back for a 6th season...
I won't give up on a 10th season. Arthur:"I'll die first."

The King of Queens has been on almost 9 years. I'm sure Kevin James and the rest of his co-stars have determined after this season, they'll move on to other projects. I think Kevin James has a bright future in feature films. The show's cast will be all right, but keep petitioning to CBS to return the show for one more season.

I think kevin has a bright future, but its hard for female sitcom stars to move on to other projects.come to think of it even most males
i hope for a 10th season and wish the best for kevin and leah, they gave me a lot of laughs over the years
