View Full Version : Larry King interview transcripts
*ClassicPinUp* 11-12-2006, 06:31 PM Came across this Larry King interview with Paul Brownstein, Jeff Margolies, Marilyn Gleason, Mike Douglas, Joyce Randolph, Leonard Stern and Jane Kean. It was for the 50th anniversary. It covers everything from Jackie's life, lost episodes & much more. I'm sure some of you have read/seen it but for those that haven't it's long but well worth it.

Bill S. 11-13-2006, 03:16 PM I found this part very interesting:
KING: Mike, do you have one?
DOUGLAS: Oh, the one where Art Carney knocked on the door and couldn't get open and came through the window. For some reason. I'm glad they didn't change that. They kept it as is. It was absolutely wonderful.
I've got to find out what episode this was, it's driving me crazy.
*ClassicPinUp* 11-13-2006, 04:38 PM You know I was going to post that & see what you thought because it seems to me like everyone & thier brother has seen this..now if only someone would remember the name lol.
Wonder if Joyce Randolph would remember because I'd more than willing to drive to where she lives in order to find out :wallbang.
*ClassicPinUp* 11-13-2006, 05:32 PM I didn't know Marilyn was still alive to be honest  wow need to catch up. We do pass through Miami in the summer so maybe if it's in a decent area..I did plan on stopping where Jackie's laid to rest, also the Jackie Gleason Theater is on that list.
Good luck with finding that episode. I to know I've heard him say "there's more than one way to skin a cat." Will keep my eyes open.

Did you record them or purchase them somewhere? I saw a link at CNN where you could buy the interview but seeing as how it was a few years ago I'm not sure if they would have it.

*ClassicPinUp* 11-13-2006, 06:41 PM All very good links. I noticed on Art Carney's there was a note left that said "You are greatly missed"-Joyce. I wonder if that was left by Joyce Randolph. I find it all very sad especially my Art :( . Will say Jackie's tomb is so...Jackie lol *big, in your face but ultimately beautiful*. Never knew he had "And Away We Go" on the steps.

If you click her name, it says Joyce Sperling.
*ClassicPinUp* 11-14-2006, 02:42 PM Opps.
