In my opinion I think Jackie Gleason's music has a way of stirring our
innermost feelings and all of our senses, of tapping into parts of ourselves unlike anything else. His music seems to make you relax, feel less stressed, and feel happier. If you're feeling stressful, angry, anxious, or irritable, and your looking for a natural tranquilizing potion just listen to one of Gleason's albums. Some of the most hypnotic laid-back easy listening mood music ever recorded.

So what are your favorite Gleason albums and does his music do anything for you? Does it relax you, move you to tears or spark a special memory of a time, place, food, or perhaps a certain person?

My favorite albums are "Music for Lovers", "Music, Martinis and Memories",
and "Opiate D'Amour". :)

I haven't heard enough of his albums to say which is my favorite, but I do agree with you that his music is very relaxing. What makes it even better is that he couldn't even read music.

Although Gleason could neither read or write music, he did have a very clear vision of what he wanted from music and by hiring his own studio orchestra and getting together some of the best orchestrators he could describe what he was looking for. Jackie was a music genius.
