3. Frosty the Snowman
4. I Saw Mommy Kissin' Santa Claus (Underneath the mistletoe last night... she didn't see me creep down the stairs to take a peek, she thought that I was tucked up in my bedroom fast asleep....)
5. All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth
I love Christmas carols! Almost as much as showtunes! I started blasting them from my CD player about 3 days before Halloween, lol.
Anyway, those aren't really my top five. The first two are my two favorite Christmas songs, but I just have SO many I grabbed three from the air and put them on the list.
And since this isn't a traditional or religious Christmas carol, I didn't put it on the list, but my FAVORITE Christmas song ever (With the possible exception of Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree) is "The Jolliest Fat Man", sung my Michael McKean and David Lander in the holiday episode of L&S, "O Hear the Angels' Voices". It's great!

JO Sweet Heart 10-16-2022, 05:17 PM ^^^ "The Night Before Christmas" is actually from a Sesame Street record. The "True Blue Miracle" song is the only time that you hear him during the Christmas Eve On Sesame Street presentation at the 1:42 mark of this clip.

God bless you always!!!
Holly (a girl who will forever love him)
P.S. I love when we hear him sing his line: "Feelings feel so wonderful. You have to let them show." I love his smile and his voice so much. To me, Northern was and still is the complete and total package. :) :) :)
JO Sweet Heart 12-10-2025, 10:29 PM I have a new singer to add to my favorite Christmas music. This is John Foster who was this year's American Idol runner up. This performance was during his 8th Grand Ole Opry appearance which was this past Sunday night. His 9th appearance is scheduled for January 9th if he isn't added to the lineup of an earlier day. Anyway, to me, he owns every song that he sings, and in my opinion, this may be his best ever Opry performance. :) :) :)
H8qDzEq4n00
God bless you and John always!!!
Holly (a girl who checks the Opry schedule every day for his name)
P.S. His Opry debut was June 7th and so he did eight appearances in just six months. I pray that a membership invitation is only just around the corner if the Opry powers that be keep adding him to the schedule. :) :) :)

I like a real version of this song: The Night Santa Went Crazy by Weird Al Yankovic. Rudolph gets ground up into reindeer sausage.
Which version do you do?
The less gory:
Yes, Virginia, now Santa's doing time
In a Federal prison for his infamous crime
Hey little friend now, don't you cry no more tears
He'll be out with good behavior in seven hundred more years
But now Vixen's in therapy and Donner's still nervous
And the elves all got jobs working for the Postal Service
And they say Mrs. Clause, she's on the phone every night
With her lawyer negotiating the movie rights
Or the extra gory:
Yes Virginia, now Santa Claus is dead
Some guy from the SWAT team blew a hole through his head
Yes little friend now, that's his brains on the floor
I guess they won't have the fat guy to kick around anymore
But now there's no more presents for children's enjoyment
And the Elves gotta stand in line to file for unemployment
And they say Mrs. Claus, she's on the phone every night
With her lawyer, negotiating the movie rights
Here’s the 2 different versions
