Yeah the weird thing about all the sets so far is that they've all only contained one bonus feature. They weren't that exciting (except of course for the commentaries and hopefully the season 6 interviews).

Hopefully they will go all out for Season 7. Well it was rumored that Bea, and the other girls are doing an interview for Season 7.

I got Season 6 today today in the mail, and I'm getting more excited about Season 7. The only think that stinks it that After Season 7 there is no more GG dvds coming out(hopefully GP, and Empty Nest).

Hopefully, they will have some good "Bonus Features" for the final season on DVD. Maybe, they will add a bonus DVD which is "The Golden Palace".

I hope they release a Golden Palace dvd, not with Season 7, plus they would've told us that. But I do hope for some blooper,commentaries, and interviews, and much more.

The time of this Season is 542mins. The BOUNS FEATURES are longer than the the Season. That is what The Golden Girls Season 7 should have.

Judging by the thickness of the box in the artwork it looks like they might have went to three individual thin cases for this season. One for each disc. I hope they did as I hate the way they stack two discs on top of one another. But then this last season would not match the first six would it?

I like the black cover art with the gold lettering. As for stacking two discs on top of each other, I bought a CD binder that holds up to 208 and put all of my DVD's in it that I find hard to get out of their cases (not a problem with Paramount, Sony, or VEI releases).

I just hope we get good Bonus Features.

The show should get treated with better Bonus Features then it is. I just think there are plenty of Bonus features that can be put on the dvds. Just look at the Seinfeld dvds. They get plenty of Bonus Features.

I hope the Bonus Features for S7 will be Betty, Rue, and Bea having some good conversations about "The Golden Moments".

I couldn't care less about bonus features - I buy DVDs for the episodes. The only Golden Girls bonus features I have bothered with are:

Season 1 (fasion commentary)
Season 5 (cast commentaries)
Season 6 (candid conversation)

I have only watched each of those once and don't intend to watch them again for a long time. I have all the Seinfeld DVDs and all I have watched is a handful of Inside Looks on episodes and a documentary about how a Seinfeld episode was made. However, I watch the episodes over and over.

I agree with you 80sTrivia. I too really enjoy the Bonus Features. I think they are great. Seeing ot hearing things about the show that you have never seen. I also hope Empty nest & Golden Palace wil be released on dvd soon.

While I agree that the bonus features certainly aren't the most important thing-the episodes are- it would be nice to have some effort put into the final season. And they have so much to choose from. I for one would love to see the lifetime Reunion special that aired back in 03 on there, or the TV Tales special on the Golden Girls that came on E! a few years back. And bloopers would be nice. But if we get none of this then that's fine. At least I'll own all 7 seasons on DVD. And I agree with the above poster, hopefully Empty Nest is next. I would LOVE to own all 7 seasons of that show. It's one of my favorite shows next to Golden Girls of course. They definitely need to start putting them out.
