They only open in that innertube thing and I need a way to either download them to my harddrive or find someone that burn them off for me. Here is the link by the way.

I cannot get them to play, I keep getting an error. I know other people have the same problem. Which is frustrating because I really enjoyed Smith. I wish the networks would do a better job with their media players.

Thing is, I could very easily get them onto dvd, but I'm not allowed to view it here in the UK, when I click on the link, it says it's not available in my country. :(

If someone can tell me how to overcome the regional IP block, I can get them. I have annonimus IP software, but it doesn't seem to work with the AOL site.

I'm pretty sure these are in Flash format (the ones on CBS.com). I have converted Flash files (from Showtime) for my iPod video & they turned out great. I'm going to burn them to DVD (hopefully soon) to see how they look on a tv.

I've also downloaded stuff from Youtube & put it on the iPod - looked great - but again, never viewed it on a tv screen.

Point is...I'd like to get all the episodes of this show, too!!! Just haven't figured out how, yet!

Has anyone had any luck with converting an M4V file with Tunebite? Since "Smith" eps are available from iTunes, I bought an episode of Bones for testing. (I'm also interested in Bones!) I've run the trial verision of TuneBites on the M4V file about 5 times. The first time, I didn't set the screen to 'fill', so the output showed Bones playing in the lower left corner of iTunes, but audio & video synched up, just fine. When I switched to 'full screen', the audio is always out of synch with the video. But TUnebites gets GLOWING reviews, but most are for audio tracks. So I don't know if the video stuff just isn't working for me, or if it...well, bites.

FYI I'm also using the trial version, but have downloaded the 3ivx encoder to convert to MPEG4. I've also tried creating output as wmv. Both...bite.

Well, if anyone has any way of getting the Smith eps to me, I can convert them. I couldn't find them on itunes though

I can (and would be willing) to buy them from iTunes. They download in m4v format. Can I send you my "Bones" episode as a test? (I'm also concerned about DRM, so I'm thinking the "Bones" episode I already have may be a good test.) If so, I can either snail mail to you OR..wait!! Uh, oh,..I don't think that's allowed on this site...I'll PM you...

Boogers...I can't find Smith on iTunes either. But Googling 'smith itunes cbs' yields some references that it will be available on iTunes in Nov...so maybe I'm jumping the gun by a week or two... I guess that's why I got the "Bones" episode...
