I just noticed something, do you realize that Janet is the only one out of the girls that supposedly had a weight problem? I mean, Chrissy had a whole episode about her eating truckloads and not gaining an ounce. Cindy never talked about it, I don't think. Terri came out and said she had a hard time gaining weight. Janet sometimes would complain when the other girls would eat in front of her when she was in diet faze and oen time she gained 20 pounds with Jack's cookies. If I were Joyce, I'd be pissed!

She was heavier in the first couple seasons. In one episode, where she's wearing a leotard, her legs are noticeably chunkier. In the 4th season, when she started wearing tight jeans and lots of makeup, she had slimmed down a bit. In the 7th season, when she wore a lot of dresses, you can see her legs are more slender than they were five years earlier.

I think Janet look good.

Janets hot, who cares about her weight as long as her legs are skinnier than mine. :)

I think her body was much better than what she was given credit for. It's nice to see "meat" on a woman, some junk in her trunk, etc. Rather than bony ass ladies who are nothing but skin and bones.

From what I understand Joyce was upset many times the way her character was portrayed and how they had her looking. That was why every season her hairstyle would change to reflect Janet's maturity as the years went. The worse look I saw in Joyce was when she had that godawful perm in season 2 and 3. When she cut her hair she was hot. In season 7 and 8 she grew her hair out and wore short skirts she was a hottie. Joyce got out of that plain Jane look to a glamorous woman. I preferred Janet over Chrissy anyday.

Don't you think the Janet/Chrissy debate is as valid as the Ginger/MaryAnn one?

I don't count Terri or Cindy. They would be the Shemps of Threes Company

Although Terri was a very attractive woman too. :)
