Another smart move by the eagles. Have you seen this kid play? They made the mistake once already with derek burgess, they should have locked him up for a long time, they will not make the same mistake twice. Trent Cole is a very good player. Again the big picture is what you have to look at. The eagles are locking up players to long term deals & they are being smart about it. Solomon, If they awarded a long term contract to Michael Lewis who has been playing like absolute dog sh** I would agree with you, but they are locking up players that deserve the extensions & deserve the $$$$.
