The graphics on the DVD's look terrific! This is a very well-done collection. It is really beautiful and very very generous with the extras. My 12 VHS tapes have seen me through the last 15 years, but the Time-Life Collection is definitely the ultimate!
If I had to dig up just one complaint, it would be that the "episode" menus (except for Season 3) don't have the name of the episode, just a still shot from that episode. You have to select it and go to the audio introduction to see the name. This, however, is a minor consideration.
TV shows on DVD is doing a feature on each season's disc per day. They've only done the first two seasons so far. The screen shots of the menus are great. No insignias to spoil the captures. Also included is the running times.

Well, it looks like I have to retract my one and only complaint about the DVD collection. The graphics on Wouldyoubelieve.com seemed to show episode menus with still pics but no titles beneath them-----but they're plainly labeled in the pics on Tvondvd.com.
I've had all the eps on VHS since 1991 when Nick-at-Nite had a 7-day marathon of "every Get Smart episode ever made." It went by themes, though-----like one night was "gadgets" and another night "femme fatales," etc. so the episode order was hugely jumbled. I had to get an episode guide and make an index just to be able to find what I was looking for. It will be wonderful to have it all on DVD----they're finally producing what I wanted 15 years ago.

From what I've heard, the menus are very animated, so that might have been why the titles didn't show up in some of the screen caps.

I have a question....
When tvshowsondvd.com posted the Season 5 screens, the mentioned that the season 5 running times were shorter because there was an episode promo before the episode that was unique to the early syndicated versions.
I didn't understand that. Have these promos since been cut with the most recent reruns on TVLand and Nick and Nite?
Please understand, Im by no means complaining and don't have a gripe that these don't appear to be on the new DVDs, Im just curious as to what they are if anyone knows or remembers seeing them.
I appreciate it.
