When he does the highlights on SportsCenter what the hell is he talking about when he says

"He is just as cool as the other side of the pillow"

"Holla at a player when you see him in the streets"

why is it when someone says something that is "not normal", out of the ordinary, stupid, dumb, etc. you always say they are on medication? I have known people who NEEDED TO TAKE MEDICATION so they don't say stupid things. And, I have known people who do take medication and they no longer act stupid or say stupid stuff. Not to mention that to some people, medication is a god-send.

Stuart Scott is just an idiot, regardless of whether he takes medication or not.

I think Stuart Scott stole that "Cooler than the other side of the pillow" line from the WWE's Jim Ross. He started saying that in like 1996, and Stuart has only been saying it over the last few years. I do agree with you though, alot of the stuff he says is kind of goofy. They even had a skit on Saturday Night Live a few years back about him, and all his silly little sayings. Personally, I think he just tries too hard to be like Chris Berman.

Berman's another guy who's schtick was humorous 20 or so years ago, but has just gotten way out of hand.

Sportcenter anchors (and Berman) have all come to believe that the show is about them, rather than just having them report on what happened on the field. And, they each think that Sportcenter's success is only because of THEM, rather than the fact that it was the only 24 hour sports network for many years, meaning ANYONE would have been successful had they tried it first.

Bob Ley, who was around near or at the beginning of ESPN, is the only ESPN personality who seems to prefer focusing on the games and the athletes, rather than on his performance during a broadcast.

Stuart Scott's spent the last 10 years trying to prove to his people that he's really black. I don't think they believe him.

On drugs? What about the feelings of recovering drug addicts!?!? Yeah, right. You had it right the first time Solomon. Stuart Scott talks like he's ON MEDICATION.
