How did each of the opening credit sequences to this show went for each season?
The S1 Pilot Episode "Another Ballgame" - This version of the theme song used a somewhat slightly mellower theme tune, the lyrics were scattered a bit differently than what was to come in regular episodes, scenes of Katherine and George outside kissing each other are used and shots of a few Chicago landmarks are used, a still shot of Webtser eating ice cream is used, Art LaFleur and Henry Polic are listed in the credits, but not pictured.
How does the closing credits on this episode ended?
S1 - The Apartment era: Originally, they started off with a centered shot of Katherine (Susan Clark) by the couch, then cutting to a shot of George (Alex Karras) coming in the partment through the door, and cutting to a shot of Webster (Emmanuel Lewis) coming from the kitchen, before the "STARRING IN" words came in as does the show's title name, before cutting to a shot of Jerry (Henry Polic II) coming in the door waving "Hi!," before George closes the door in his face.
NOTE: Later on, the only changes that were made were Katherine at shown at her desk and the title font.
S1 usually uses a fast closing theme song. Sometimes it's slower. An alternate version was sometimes used on 2-part episodes in this season.
S2 - S4? - Part One of the Victorian House era: This is the version that's used online. We see a shot of Katherine spraying the plants, then a shot of George opening the door coming into the living room and then a shot of Webster is seen in the hallway with his schoolbooks and then the cut to the title font and shots of Bill and Cassie.
S5-S6 - Part Two of the Victorian House era: We start with the letter "W" coming in on a pink background and then scenes from previous episodes are played while the letters in the show's title name appearing one by one in different scenes and the show's title logo zooms in as well. The font for the cast members are different as is the in-episodes and closing credits fonts.
