It appears that michael strahan of the giants will miss 4-8 weeks with the liz franc injury to his foot. Brian westbrook had this injury a couple of years back & the injury always takes longer than first thought to heal. The first estimation was 2-4 weeks but now doctors are saying 1-2 months.

Well depending on who you believe..giants website says 2-4 weeks, strahan himself in a radio interview today that he will miss 1-2 months. I doubt he would lie about that unless he is like TO & wants everyone to rave what a fast healer he is & he is not like that.

Strahan is a loss, but I really like Mathias Kiwanuka. He is pretty decent.

Yes he is playing very well, but it is tough to replace michael Strahan. Fortunately for you, the nfc is really not that strong & this should only have minimal impact on the overall picture.

The average recovery time for this injury is 5 weeks, Brian westbrook had the same injury & he missed 4 games. It all depends on the individual player. For Fox sports to say only 1 week is a bad piece of journalism.

I agree, but Strahan is not needed since the Giants are playing a Bad team this week-"THE BEARS"

I would not go as far to say the bears are " a bad team" but I have a tough time calling them an elite team. I think they are a good team, barely a notch above the saints.

The Bears are Comedians not NFL Players
