I absolutely agree. He fired a Hall of Fame coach in Larry Brown, because his ego couldn't coexist with his. Isiah does seem to have an eye for drafting talent though. With that aside, if the Knicks don't make the playoffs, he is as good as fired.

Isiah knows that too (about being fired). The whole situation is a game, it's like dealing with children and yet the fans have suffer the idignity of watching it all escalate to this.

If the Knicks win 5 more games than last year then management will say, "see, we're better"- and that is not the case. It's never going to be the case. The situation is that the Knicks are an overbudgeted mismatch of people who have zero chemistry and have no idea how to win.

Time to clean house, and for God's sake sell the team to someone who wants to win.

As a diehard Knicks fan, I'm glad to go into this season with this in mind. Sad thing is I'm a Cubs fan as well and I just went though a season like this with Dusty Baker......

Maybe Lou could come coach the Knicks too....
