because Penny would have had more respect for Bookman. Penny was 11 years old and had no business slamming the door in Bookman's face, calling him names and insulting his wife. That all falls back on Willona who was supposed to teach her that you respect your elders. Willona was supposed to treat bookman with respect in FRONT of Penny because if she felt it was o to do it too. I never found it funny when Bookman was disrespected by Penny, i Just thought it made it look like Willona was not PARENT MATERIAL

A lot of what Penny did was not funny. I agree, as a parent, you don't diss your elders, especially abt their weight. You don't know why they are fat. It could be a disease.

C'mon, she was just the wacky next door neighbor who is for the sake of the flow, just walks in. Like Kramer, Joey and Chandler (although we saw their apts.) and so many others.

As far as her parenting skills, well, she had her heart in the right place.
