T-Greg 11-02-2006, 10:05 AM YIKES! very small maybe 10% ??? never enough time to do anything it seems except work and burn! LOL! In your case, everyone can understand that. 10% still amounts to hundreds, if not thousands of hours:lol: Lamont 11-02-2006, 10:32 AM sometimes i cheat i dont 100% watch it ill have a disc on in the background and 1/2 watch it while i do something else giltdunn 11-02-2006, 10:49 AM In all honesty I doubt if I have actually watched even 10% of what has come in the past 6 months - but it will be watched as I only get in what appeals to me - trouble is I am, developing very wide tastes! This is a great, compulsive hobby and one in which yuo meet some incredibly pleasant and interesting people. My grateful thanks to all those here at sitcoms who have helpoed me find and acquire so much great arre stuff Gil D savageamusement 11-02-2006, 11:35 AM I'm a chipmunk when it comes to my trades. I go through a month-two months of serious trading, hundreds of discs- and then, nothing for a month and I veg out and watch series- usually an entire season at a time. I wait till the season ends grab the stack of 5 discs and watch it like one long mini series- I'm usually tired of it by then, which gives the network time to make new ones :) I did this with supernatural, and point pleasant/ surface recently. And after a few marathons, I am sick of tv for a bit- trade for some new stuff and it goes in that pattern. I especially hoard and watch in the winter, cuz I don't like to freeze my tail off going to the post office. RedWhine56 11-02-2006, 12:24 PM I would LIKE to watch more of the shows in my collection, but I just don't seem to have the time. However, this time of the year, I'll tend to watch more of them, since my husband will be watching football & basketball, pretty much each evening & weekend. (Did we really NEED THURSDAY night football, too????) Japs 11-02-2006, 01:04 PM With having such a small collection at the minute I have watched about 80% I would say but a lot of the time im half watching as im busy burning or playing poker online or some of my other online hobbies. lilhave 11-02-2006, 01:20 PM 10 percent. Your not counting the stuff that comes in the unmarked brown paper bag?, if so the numbers jump. Take the last package from RedWhine, my fingers are still burning. Harvey loren 11-02-2006, 01:38 PM i have discs playing almost all the time in my office, right behind me i watch a minute here and there of everything i get but as far as sitting down and watching a series i do it in binges i took a week and watched deep space nine recently like 140 hours of actual show i also take a laptop along when i travel and watch a lot in the hotels since the tvs suck as a rule of the shows i get, that i want for myself i have viewed about 75 % most of the shows i like, are huge gunsmoke, star treks, t zone, little house, cagney and lacey, etc,etc but as far as overall episodes maybe 3% of the total ps, i do not watch any current programs at all nothing for my taste Lex Luthor 11-02-2006, 02:12 PM sometimes i cheat i dont 100% watch it ill have a disc on in the background and 1/2 watch it while i do something else Me too RedWhine56 11-02-2006, 02:26 PM 10 percent. Your not counting the stuff that comes in the unmarked brown paper bag?, if so the numbers jump. Take the last package from RedWhine, my fingers are still burning. Harvey Oh, the things I could say!!! omg: But this being a family site & all, I'll simply say you may want to have a bucket of ice handy, when opening the next package! It's got exclusive, never before seen footage of "Harvey's Devils" in their Halloween outfits. (Such as they are.) :triplets breadguy 11-02-2006, 02:41 PM i watch one as i'm dubbing anither tape or on computer multitasking without it i wouldn't get anything done john T-Greg 11-02-2006, 03:40 PM http://mywebpages.comcast.net/tomkle/Berry.gif Hazel Anyday 11-02-2006, 04:59 PM I find myself watching shows I have to transfer more than I am actually able to watch shows I have for enjoyment. I would love to watch more Rawhide each week but if I do that I won't have time to transfer Wagon Train, if I watch Mannix I won't have time to transfer Cannon, if I watch Real McCoys I won't have time to transfer Lucy Show, etc. etc. I am in the unfortunate position of having to watch shows I may not be in the mood for but still need to do it to get things transferred over before I shuffle off this mortal coil. Once I get more shows transferred I'll finally be able to watch exactly what I want to watch from my collection. That's when I'll start wearing out the Rawhide & Gunsmoke discs. gilligan fanatic 11-02-2006, 06:02 PM I put 50-60%, betwen school, work, friends, etc. I really don't watch that much. It takes me a month or two to go through a set. . Lamont 11-02-2006, 06:06 PM mainly what i watch is just stuff i have allready seen before like a few weeks ago i had the flu and couldnt sleep so one night i watched 6 hours of AfterMASH straight at night tick26 11-03-2006, 01:40 AM i basically try to view everything that comes in maybe 5-10 minutes. before i rarely check and now i'm paying for it. either the tape doesn't work or the quality is so bad why did they even bother sending it.even with dvds if have to check, you never know when someone will try to pull a fast one. |
