which beging of the theme song do you like better there,s a place youve gotta go for learning or yo u take the good you take the bad

Definately "You take the good you take the bad the take 'em both....."

I cannot stand the first Season Theme song. And as far as the "Take the good..." version, it changes a little over the years. I like it best during Seasons 2-6. Starting with Season 7, it gets more upbeat and fast. It's good, but I prefer the 2nd one.

"You take the good you take the bad..." for sure. The music is so simple but so good and catchy. I agree, after the sixth season the theme song was still good but a bit fast and more legato which to me didn't sound as good.

I LOVE THE LYRICS TO BOTH THE THEMES, AND WAS THINKING, HOW MANY OTHER SHOWS HAD A DIFFERENT OPENING CREDIT THEME VS. A CLOSING THEME? DO YOU KNOW? WITH EACH NEW THEME, THOUGH, THEY KEPT A PIECE OF THE ONES BEFORE. PRETTY COOL:cool:

The 1st season theme was cute, but not well sung (sorry Charlotte). The next season they brought in Gloria Loring (ex-DAYS, Ex- Alan Thicke) and she did a great job. I'm not sure I like the harder-edged theme they used later from season 6 on. It was bit too "pop", but still great!

I like the theme from seasons 6-9 the best.
