Just saw Baywatch over here in ASDA(Walmart) and it is season one alone for about $75. Bit pricey for me

Maybe the version of Baywatch on sale in the UK isn't missing episodes like the US version (see the article on TVShowsonDVD.com for more info).

It's hard to believe that with the money they can stand to make of these sets, they don't put more effort into doing them right.

American Gothic is a prime example, the finale isn't the last ep on the discs, same with Eerie Indiana (now that was just a real lazy set, not a single extra and the menus even look custom).

They explained that it is the first syndicated season, which is what most people will be expecting. When it moved from NBC to Syndication it was completely retooled and most of the cast was changed as well. In Germany the first four seasons are out (or will be by the end of the year) and they released the NBC season first. Better cover art too btw.

But yeah, I won't be buying because of the lack of episodes. TVSHOWSONDVD posted a list and it seems all of the major two-part episodes and season premieres will be missing for various seasons. These are the main episodes people want to see! Grr! If the company that owns the other episode releases them then I'll get it. Otherwise, I'm going to wait.
