View Full Version : ESPN made it obvious last night they HATE the Cowboys when they decided to show the
TVFactFan 10-30-2006, 03:21 PM Highlights of the Colts/Broncos game first on SportsCenter and then some other highlights second-lol I was like wasn;t there a sunday night game tonight where ROMO made his first start and No highlights? ESPN people so bitter and petty and I figured they would do that. We all know if the Cowboys lost that would have been the first game they showed highlights of when SportsCenter came on. Also, they didn;t air the eagles HIGLIGHTS at all-lol Guess why

I don't know how anyone can say that espn doesn't kiss the cowboys butt after that monday night game against the giants. I was watching that game thinking I was watching a local broadcast from dallas. Jerry jones interview, troy aikman interview, emmit smith 8 min interview. Give me a break. Those espn game broadcasts are horrendous.

I still feel Tony Romo getting his first NFL win on the Road was a bigger sports Story than what the Colts did.

But why was it such a big story if the Colts were still undeafeated? Now if they had lost I could see that game being first but what Peyton did yesterday he always does

Wasn't the Cowboys game on NBC?? Maybe that has something to do with it.
All I know is, ESPN loves Ocho Cinco ... he gets lots of pub on their network.

That's because the Cowboys lost. ESPN always likes to talk about the Cowboys if something bad is going on with them.

How bout I haven't seen the Eagles Highlights YET-lol Not on SportsCenter or NFL Primetime. Watching Primetime right Now
Mr. Television 10-30-2006, 07:45 PM Yea they've been pretty quiet about the Eagles today. Three weeks ago The Eagles were one of their favorites to get to the SB.

Solomon, the Cowboys get too much press if you ask me, so I don't know what you are complaining about. For the past week, all I heard is Romo, Romo, Romo. Hell, in week one, when the Jaguars BEAT Dallas, I didn't see not one Jacksonville player interviewed by ANY network. They all interviewed TO and Parcells. That was a slap in the face to Jacksonville as an organization and the players. The league and the networks kisses Dallas ass even if they go 0-16.

You are talking about NEGATIVE COVERAGE, I'm Talking about POSITIVE COVERAGE

Well, the Jags didn't get any positive coverage in that game.

Because the Cowboys gave the game away.

Now all i see today is parcells kissing peoples foreheads & rubbing TO's head. I have seen that clip at least 3 times today on espn
Tweety 10-30-2006, 08:12 PM The Cowboys get way more coverage from ESPN than their performance on the field has earned them... TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO, TO,
TO tries to commit suicide
TO doesn't try to commit suicide
TO gets three TDs against a crappy Houston team
TO and Bill Parcels kiss
Just about all we heard about all summer were the Cowboys. Meanwhile, the years are piling up since they've won anything.
The Colts win against Denver, in Denver (where the Broncos had won 13 straight in the regular season) was the best game of the day, easily. The best game should be the top story.
Carolina's a .500 team. In spite of their supposedly great defense, they've given up more points than they've scored.. it's not a big deal to beat them
Brian Damage 10-30-2006, 08:12 PM ESPN's favorite teams...

Might end up being the Cavs with Lebron, or the Lakers with Kobe...maybe Miami with Shaq.

Hmmm, I think you may have something with the Lakers. lol
Tweety 10-30-2006, 08:19 PM People shouldn't get upset just because their team'g game wasn't run as the top story on ESPN... There's plenty of legitimate stuff to gripe about regarding ESPN without worrying about which game they'd put at the top of Sportscenter.

Tweety I mentioned this because he Cowboys Game had just ended when SportsCenter started at 11:30pm so I was confused why it was shown
