I hated the fact that Albert became addicted to morphine, but I thought Matthew's acting job when he was "kicking" the habit was superb. Those were some really difficult scenes to do.

I hated the fact that Albert became addicted to morphine, but I thought Matthew's acting job when he was "kicking" the habit was superb. Those were some really difficult scenes to do.

I did enjoy Matthew's acting in that episode. He was a good child actor. Very firey and it came out naturally. I was glad that they did not make him to be this perfect obedient child but a perplex person who had a rough beginning. Matthew played that part quite well.

I love Matthew Laborteaux. He was always my favorite on the show, especially when he got older. Those scenes were amazing!

I really enjoyed this episode too. Its one of the better episodes late in the series
