"Lesson in Love" at 9:30pm. They were dancing at the beginning of the episode and stopped when Florence comes in with a man she went out on a date with. Let's just say that Florence coming in annoyed because I was enjoying the Weezy and George moment-lol

I wonder why there was not more intimate moments between the two? It was funny at times seeing them argue, but it would have balanced things out to see them "lovey dovey", cuddling, etc.

I recall a bunch of times when they were lovey dovey. It's all throughout the series. Look at the scene in the main titles in years 3 and 4 when Louise is sorting clothes and George comes in and startles her (that's from a first season show). Also from the opening there's a scene where Louise has on a blue outfit and she is kissing George. Also in the credits in the later years there's a scene of them sitting on the couch holding hands and making goo goo eyes at each other. Also from the credits in the last 2 years the last shot is of them both with broken legs hobbling towards each other in the kitchen laughing. Keep your eyes out for Secret in the Back Room in the last year - it's their anniversary and they're all over each other in that one. I think they were quite affectionate in the Jeffersons, much more so than in All in the Family, even in the pilot George looks Weezy in the face in the old kitchen and says that all that he does is for her. If any couple lacked displays of affection it was Tom and Helen- you only see that once in a blue moon like in the first episode or in Honeymoon Hotel. Otherwise they played them like Helen wore the pants and Tom was the submissive one.

I totally agree, they were affectionate in their own way, but he always would say he was doing it for Louise. Thats love

they showed affectionate towards each other a lot....it may not have been as much as cliff and clair...but they definitely showed it.
